I heard this week from a pastor in Liberia who was a student in my Systematic Theology class when I was teaching at the Bible College on my first trip to Ghana. In response to a class assignment, he had shared how he witnessed a man shoot and kill his brother in the Civil War in Liberia. Some time later, he saw that same man lying in the street wounded, writhing, and dehydrated. The Holy Spirit told him to go bring the man to the house and give him water, food, and care. He obeyed. That, my friends, is having the “mind of Christ.” (Posted by Yvonne on fb 07/17/12)
For, “Who can know the LORD’s thoughts? Who knows enough to teach him?” But we understand these things, for we have the mind of Christ (1 Cor. 2:16, NLT).
